(yes, we went there)

coupling your beloved glass of red vino with dark chocolate is a winning (heart-healthy) combo that we are honestly obsessed with. ‘member that time we cooked up some red wine hot chocolate over the holidays?? yeah, this is like that, but frozen. we used eating evolved dark chocolate, because it’s lightly sweetened with unrefined coconut sugar. plus, it’s 72% dark chocolate - which means it’s positively packed with oodles + oodles of heart-healthy antioxidants. [sorry kids, this these popsicles are for adults only!]
[cabernet fudge pops]
1 cup cabernet sauvignon (zinfandel or pinot noir will work too)
1 ½ cups chopped dark chocolate
1 ½ cups unsweetened nut milk
- bring wine up to a simmer over medium-low heat in a small saucepan + allow it to reduce by about half, about 10 - 15 minutes.
- stir in the chocolate until completely smooth + melted, then stir in milk.
- pour into popsicle mold, pop in some wooden sticks + freeze overnight.
