3 recipes to incorporate this popular protein into your day

when you’re in the business of fitness, you’ve been around the block a time or two when it comes to protein powders. we’ve tried ‘em all, well with the exception of cricket protein - we have our limits. whey, brown rice, pea protein...you name it, it’s been in our fitfuel mixer. at this point, we kind of feel like the goldilocks of protein. this one’s too sweet, that one’s too chalky...you get our drift. then we stumbled upon collagen protein, touting benefits including better skin elasticity and moisture, improved thyroid function, better digestion and healthier bones + joints.

we had to test it out - and test we did! but we didn’t just stop at protein shakes. because collagen protein is totally and completely flavorless, you can add it to pretty much anything for a quick protein boost that you won’t even taste. here are 3 of our favorite ways to use this popular protein:

[banana-orange protein smoothie]

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp almond butter
1 serving collagen protein powder
1 packed cup baby spinach

½ cup frozen cauliflower

blend everything up in a blender + enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

[bulletproof matcha protein latte]

1 tsp matcha powder
1 serving collagen protein powder
¼ tsp vanilla-bean powder
2 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp ghee

blend everything in a blender + sip up, buttercup!

[protein-packed avocado dip]

½ avocado, mashed
1 scoop collagen protein powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
pinch of sea salt
