Today I just said goodbye to 2 children from Uganda I had the blessing to host for the holidays with the Daraja Choir. Today I will enroll to become a Daraja Family member, to help support the children as they tour the country and worship, and sponsor a child so they can go to school with their own books. xoxo

I was a blessing to an old friend who I hadn’t spoken with for a long time. She lost her job back in October and I think I helped her by letting her vent about being unemployed and looking for a job at age 67. Don’t let the numbers fool you….this woman can run circles around you! Thank you for the opportunity.

I blessed my eldest daughter and her friends by agreeing to be a coach for Girls on The Run today! Hopefully it will inspire her to give the gift of running to herself! (it’s been a heck of a gift to me!)

I will be a blessing to someone else by giving my time this season. I will focus my energy and my thoughts on them, from just listening to running errands, or just hanging with them and doing what they want they will have me completely.

I get a chance to help somebody tonight at church. I volunteer with children, helping them get checked in and to the right spot. It’s rewarding.

I plan on sharing a smile and a compliment with someone who looks like they need some cheer. A smile from a stranger has a special way of brightening someone’s day!

I will encourage others to reach their goals while working to make my goals happen. I will remember to do the small things that make someone’s day a little brighter!

Great post!
This may sound strange, but I plan on being a blessing to someone today by being in-tune with the Lord and his word, if I am not sensitive to his will, made possible by reading His word I might miss whatever "act of blessing " someone that I can do today.
